While it's not as hauntingly poetic as Benjamin Button, I think this might be the best film of the year. The cinematography is beautiful, I adored the soundtrack, the acting was wonderful (although the main character's detachment from everything when he's older deducted from the greatness of some scenes) and the story is gripping and brilliantly written. As usual, I want to give as little away as possible, but I will say that I felt the ending was a missed opportunity at something much less "hollywoodish", and that's pretty much the only thing that could have held me back from giving it five stars. Otherwise, this is a fascinating and inspiring movie that is well, well worth a watch.

About
- I watch a ton of movies and TV Shows and play a ton of games, which is rather unproductive. So, I have decided to review as many things as I can, to at least get something that might be useful to others out of it. Sorry if I end up bashing a movie you like, as I'm in critic mode when I write here. In reality, I can enjoy every movie, even zero star ones! Hope you enjoy the site!
