This is a fairly entertaining movie with no real laughs and a very predictable and overdrawn story. The moral is basically "don't be mean", and the acting is rather shallow (though Ricky Gervais is decent, despite being the exact same character he always is). Some of the themes dealing with seeing dead people the same way you see living people, and how the main character interacts with that, are somewhat interesting. In general, though, it's the sort of movie you watch when you have nothing better to do. Otherwise, I'd advise skipping this one and spending your money on something better.
