I'll be honest: I was a little disappointed with this movie. What it does provide is a very interesting look into the life of a wrestler, enough to make you respect the people that do this for a living. To get you there, the movie very explicitly treats the themes of sex, violence, drugs and alcohol, while still maintaining a feel of everyday life and good intentions. I saw the ending coming from a mile away, and I felt like the very last shot didn't live up to what could potentially have been glorious, but it was still a great way to end it. To summarize, it's a very interesting movie to watch, but it's not something you rent on a Friday night for funsies.
