A very odd, very dark film that gets much better near the end. Although slightly predictable, the ending is one of my favorites in recent memory. The first half of the film, however, had pacing problems and felt a bit dull and a bit too strange for my tastes. It's a very artsy movie with some brilliant cinematography, though, so if you're into that kind of stuff, then I'd recommend it. Otherwise, it provides decent entertainment, but is really depressing to watch and is a bit confused with its morals. Not something to watch with other people.
