Hmm, what a big dip this series has suffered since the first movie. It has gone from being a work of surprisingly cunning comedy genius to being a series of predictable jokes and corny slapstick humor. It is, of course, sprinkled with a few genius moments here and there, but not like in the first one where it was a near constant barrage. Instead, the good jokes get diluted by the bad ones, and the story is too over the top and childish to be particularly interesting. Plus, characters have now developed a weird tendency to act puzzled and open their eyes wide whenever something weird happens, instead of just ignoring it like in the first one. It worked better the old way.
This is still an entertaining film, but I can see how this ended up turning into stuff like Scary Movie and Superhero Movie later on. Inspiration doesn't last forever.

Massively inferior to the first, replacing most of its smart-stupid humour with corny slapstick, and failing to keep your attention with its paper thin plot. A few brilliant jokes, though.
