I liked this a lot more than I thought I would! Instead of a formulaic movie about a naughty dog, I got a hugely entertaining life story about family, work and pets. It manages to fit years of story into a 2 hour running time without seeming overly long or like it was missing important parts. Additionally, from what I can gather, it seems to be humanly impossible not to tear up during the ending... I'm serious, just try not to. Can't be done.
